Removal and installation of a control lamp off the front passenger airbag

ATTENTION

Observe safety precautions when working on the airbag.

NOTE

When removing and installing components that are in view (switches, covers, trim panels and so forth.), Seal the place of a tool, wedges, screwdrivers, etc.., A conventional adhesive tape.

Withdrawal

Turn the ignition and all electrical consumers and turn the key in the position 0 (pre-emphasis).

Carefully pry off the panel 1 with a wedge from the retainers (Fig. 7.100).

Unlock plug connection and disconnect the connector (Fig. 7.101).

Unlock the control lamp front passenger airbag and remove it from the panel.

Setting

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
