Removing Engine
NOTE During subsequent operations the ground cable must be disconnected from the battery. Therefore, you must first check whether installed in the car radio with coding. If you want to know the security code that prevents theft. |
Remove protection crankcase. Remove the front left and right wheel arch liner. Result a radiator framework in service position. The engine is removed together with the gearbox down. Disconnect the battery. Remove the battery and battery holder frame. After installation, you must reinstall the engine all cable clamps, remove or cut for its dismantling. Remove the air filter. Open and close expansion tank cap to release pressure in the cooling system. Disconnect, disconnect and hang out all the electric wires from gearbox, alternator and starter. Remove and disable all other available power wire from the engine.
ATTENTION The fuel is pressurized to avoid injuries and skin contact, wear protective goggles and gloves. Before disconnecting the connection hose wrap cloth. Then release pressure by gently loosening the connection. |

Unlock grommet harness high-voltage wires and remove it by pulling it up (Fig. 2.5).
Remove the wiring harness from the engine control unit. Secure the wiring harness to the motor cable clip. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
| Fig. 2.7. The tip of the sensor level and oil temperature
|
1 Disconnect the plug from the sensor level and oil temperature (Fig. 2.7). Unlock holder 2 wires to the sensor level and oil temperature on a stretcher.
Remove the drive gear from the gearbox. Remove hydraulic clutch slave cylinder.
NOTE Press the clutch pedal is prohibited. |
Drain the coolant. Disconnect water hoses from the engine using pliers for spring clamps VAS 5024A. Remove the serpentine belt. Remove the air conditioning compressor.
