Start the gasoline engine

Put the selector of an automatic transmission to position P or N.

Place the gear manual transmission in neutral. Depress the clutch pedal all the way and hold it in this position.

Keep the vehicle in place with the brake pedal.

Turn the ignition key to position 2 (Fig. 1.109) to start the engine.

Release the ignition key when the engine starts - the starter should not rotate when the engine is running.

After starting the engine is very hot you need a little push on the gas pedal.

After a cold start it will be for some time to work with increased noise, as yet not large enough oil pressure valve tappet clearances. This is normal and should not alarm you.

If you can not immediately start the engine, it should be in 10 spriostanovit process start and repeat it in half a minute. If the engine does not start up again, check the fuse of the electric fuel pump.
