Catalytic converter
To ensure the durability of converter: - Never pour leaded gasoline; - Never drive with an empty tank; - Do not pour too much oil into the engine; - Do not start the engine with the tug, use the battery of another vehicle. If during movement noticeable misfiring, power reduction or severe unevenness of the motor, slow down and consult a workshop. For such features of the engine usually indicates a special warning lamp. Unburned fuel may enter the exhaust system and into the environment. In addition, the converter may overheat and fail.
ATTENTION Never drive with an empty tank, as the unstable supply of fuel to the engine can lead to misfires. This unburned fuel enters the exhaust system, and this can lead to overheating and damage the catalytic converter. |
