Removal and installation of the level sensor body G78 / G289 on cars with amortization racks

Withdrawal

To remove the level sensor body, it is necessary to dismantle the spring strut and the support bracket.

Remove spring strut.

Removal of the left support bracket

Remove the bolt for the brake fluid reservoir 1 (Fig. 4.70).

Remove the screws under the tank with hydraulic oil 1 (Fig. 4.71).

Removing the right support bracket

Unlock and remove the plug of the engine control unit 2.

Remove the control unit (Fig. 4.72).

Remove the mount engine control unit 2.

Now have access to the support bracket bolts (3 pcs.).

Remove the bolt (Fig. 4.73).

Remove the support bracket.

Remove the level sensor body from the upper control arm and loosen from the support bracket.

Setting

Install in reverse order, with the following should be considered.

Projection attachment level sensor body must be adjacent to the support bracket (Fig. 4.74).

Install the support bracket.

Install the spring strut.

Tightening torques
