Check the density of the electrolyte



Check the electrolyte level in the battery.
Turn the ignition and all electrical consumers.
In the presence of - remove the protective film from the traffic jams jars.
Remove the cork cans.

With the "pear" hydrometer to remove the electrolyte from many banks that emerged float (Fig. 7.3).
The density of the electrolyte is determined by the immersion depth of the hydrometer into the electrolyte. The density can be determined by the scale of the hydrometer.


NOTE
Check the density of the electrolyte immediately after topping up with distilled water leads to incorrect measurement readings. Check the density of the electrolyte only after the battery charge.
Check plugs and O-rings for damage. Replace damaged parts.
Close the jars with plugs.
