Disconnecting and connecting the battery (vehicles with two batteries)
Each car is equipped with a maintenance-free battery indicator under the driver's seat. Additionally, in some embodiments, the equipment of cars in the spare wheel well in the trunk of an additional battery is installed without the liquid electrolyte.
The procedure for disconnecting the battery Disconnect the battery, located under the driver's seat. Disconnect the second battery, located in the luggage compartment.
ATTENTION Failure to follow the correct sequence could bring the inclusion isolator batteries and damage to electrical equipment. |
Disabling the second battery located in the trunk
Lift the trunk floor trim and remove it in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 7.14).
Open the clamps 1 and 2 loosen the nuts on the right side of the battery compartment cover (Fig. 7.15).

Open the clamps 1 and 2 loosen the nuts on the left side of the battery compartment cover (Fig. 7.16).
Unscrew the nuts and remove the retaining clips clamps (Fig. 7.17). Remove first the negative terminal from the negative terminal of the battery. Then remove the positive terminal of the battery output.
Connect a second battery, located in the luggage compartment Put the positive terminal to the positive terminal of the battery. Tighten the fixing screw the positive terminal to the specified torque. Only after the positive terminal has been fixed, it is possible to put on the negative terminal to the negative terminal of the battery. Tighten the screws negative terminal to the specified torque
