Checking oil pressure and oil pressure sensor
| Fig. 2.268. The pressure gauge to check the oil pressure
|
To verify (vehicles with letter designations Engine AYH, BKW) Remove the fuel filter.
Cars with engines of BLE and BWF Remove the cover from the bypass EGR cooler.
Continuation of the assembly operations for all vehicles Remove the oil pressure gauge F1 and twist it into a pressure gauge VAG 1342.
NOTE When loosening the oil pressure switch to avoid loss of tightness in the oil line banjo bolt hold. |
Gauge for oil pressure screw in the banjo bolt in place of the oil pressure sensor. Lay the brown wire gauge to measure the pressure of oil to the weight of (-). Connect voltage tester voltage tester VAG 1527 B to support wires of a set of auxiliary measuring devices VAG 1594 C of the positive terminal of the battery (+) and oil pressure switch. LED tester should not light up.
Cars with letter designations Engine AYH, BKW Remove the fuel filter.
Cars with engines of BLE and BWF Install the cover on the bypass EGR cooler.
Continuation of the assembly operations for all vehicles Start the engine and slowly increase the speed. When overpressure 0,55-0,85 bar LED should light up, otherwise replace the oil pressure switch F1. Increase engine speed. At 2000 min -1 and a temperature of 80 ? C oil overpressure must be at least 2.0 bar. With a larger number of turns the excess oil pressure should be less than 7.0 bar.
