Replacing the upper link
The need to replace the upper link occurs when wear her rubber plugs, installation of which is only possible at the factory. Therefore, replacing the upper link should be in the collection. For this: - Remove the wheel; - Put a support under the lower arm;

- Remove the screws to pull the trailing arm and body (Fig. 8.7) - Pull the trailing arm and remove the upper link; - Secure a new top link on the body and the longitudinal arm, tighten the screws with your fingers; - Tighten the screws 1 on the part of the body to 35 Nm; - Check the cleanliness of the contact surfaces of the brake disc and hub. Lubricate the central guide pin at the front of the hub anticorrosive composition 1161038-3. Place the wheel and slightly tighten the screws, tighten them diagonally torque of 110 Nm;
A WARNING It is important to perform the tightness diagonally, applying a specified time. This will prevent the formation voltage in the brake disc. |
- Put the hub cap; - Remove the support and swing the car a few times up and down; - Tighten the mounting bolt 2 trailing arm to 90 Nm; - Check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment.
