Balancer shafts
Withdrawal | - Remove the timing belt.
- Remove all screws on oil sump.
- Remove the oil pan.
- Remove the oil strainer and O-ring.
- Remove the cover of the oil pump.
| - Remove the oil pressure gauge.
|
- Remove the bolts of the balancing shaft.
| - Remove the balancing shafts.
|
- Remove the bolts and remove the cylinder from the oil pump body and O-ring.
- Remove the cover of the oil pump from the oil pump.
|
|
Check Front Cover | - Check the lubrication holes in the absence of contamination and, if necessary, clean them.
- Check the bearings of the front cover in contact with the balancing shaft for wear, damage and jamming.
- Check the front cover for cracks or damage and replace it if necessary.
- Replace split or damaged front cover.

Balancer shaft | - Check the shaft journal for wear or jamming
- If there is excessive wear or signs of seizure, carefully you check the bearing.
| - In the presence of defects replace the bearing or shaft balancing.
|
|
|
Oil seal | - Check the sealing lips of the oil seals for wear or damage.
- Check the sealing lips of the oil seals to the absence of destruction.
