Piston
Check Piston | - Check the outer surface of the piston for damage, develop or uneven wear. If necessary, replace the piston.
- Check the piston pin by inserting it into the hole of the piston. The piston pin must be a smooth entrance into the piston by pressing it by hand (at room temperature).
Piston rings
| - Check each piston ring for damage and uneven wear. If necessary, replace the piston rings.
- When replacing the piston as the piston rings must be replaced.
| - Insert the new piston ring in the groove of the piston and probe measure the clearance between the piston ring and the wall of the groove. If the clearance exceeds the limit, replace the piston.
The gap between the piston ring and the groove in the piston: The second compression ring: 0,065-0,11 mm Scraper ring: 0.03-0.07
- Measure the end gap of the piston rings, piston ring is manually inserted into the engine cylinder. Piston crown push the piston ring into the bottom of the cylinder.
| - Feeler gauge, measure the end gap of the piston ring.
The gap piston ring: The first compression ring: 0.2-0.3 mm The second compression ring: 0,30-0,45 mm Scraper ring: 0,20-0,45 mm
Maximum permissible backlash: 0,8 mm |
Inserts connecting rod bearings | | - Check countertops rod bearing inserts the lack of bands, scratches, localized corrosion, development and other damage. If necessary, replace the pads. If work surfaces rod bearing inserts badly damaged, check the crank pins of the crankshaft. If the crankshaft is also damaged, replace it or to reuse pereshlifuyte neck to the nearest reduced size.
| - Measure the inner diameter of the connecting rod bearing inserts and the diameter of the crankshaft journals. If the oil clearance exceeds the allowable limits, replace the pads and, if necessary, the crankshaft.
Oil connecting rod bearing clearance: 0.024 - 0.042 mm Maximum permissible backlash: 0,10 mm |
Setting Connecting rod, piston pin and the piston | - Connect the piston rod.
| - Align the front label and insert the piston pin. The piston pin must be a smooth entrance into the piston by pressing it by hand (at room temperature). If there is a large gap, replace the piston pin.
