Coolant temperature



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Drain the coolant to a level below the sensor.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and the connector from the sensor.
  3. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Heat the coolant temperature sensor by immersing it in hot coolant.
  2. Measure the resistance of the sensor. Resistance: 2.31 - 2.59 ohms at 20 ?� C.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Apply sealant to the threads of the coolant temperature sensor and replace the sensor, having tightened its demanded moment. Sealant: Threebond ?�� 1324N or LOCTITE 262 Torque: 20-40 N ??? m.
  2. Connect the sensor electrical connector.
  3. Attach the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
  4. Fill in the required amount of cooling required coolant.
