Check and adjustment of a cable switch

Cock to lock the parking brake and attempt to short the starter for all positions of the shift lever. The inclusion of a starter should take place only in the lever positions "P" and ?�N?�. If the starter motor is started at any of the other provisions of the lever, adjust the thrust (See below.). If the adjustment is still the starter is activated when other than "P" or ?�N?� position of transmission should make adjustment of the gauge-switch of the permission to start or replace it (Section Check of serviceability, adjustment and replacement of the gauge-switch of the permission of start).

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Set the gear lever to position "P". Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. To release the shift cable wire casing separate from the bracket, then, to release the cable adjustment clip release it. Cable switch is connected to the lever switch via the docking connector type ball-breeding; to disconnect a connector skovyrnite tip of a cable with a small pin on the arm with a screwdriver. To disconnect the cable from the bracket with the locking pliers, squeeze the tabs on the housing, then pull the cable to the housing from the bracket. Make sure that the shift lever on the transmission set aside all the way back to the last clip. In this transmission will be in position "P". Make sure that the parking lock is working, what do try rotating the propeller shaft. In normal operation it is impossible to lock the shaft will rotate. Clip shift cable housing into the bracket, and then press down until it clicks adjusting clamp fixing the cable thereby. Lower the car to the ground. When the parking brake firmly cocked make sure that the starter is only possible in the positions of transmission "P" and ?�N?�. If the draft is adjusted properly, but the starter is started at positions other than the "P" and ?�N?�, check if the gauge-switch of the permission of start (Section Check of serviceability, adjustment and replacement of the gauge-switch of the permission of start).
