Check of adjustment and replacement of the gauge-switch of the permission of start
Check Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props. AW-4 Transmission | - Disconnect the electrical connector and compare selected conductivity (see. Illustration below) terminals with specification data. In case of discrepancies, try to make adjustment of the gauge-switch, then recheck. If the conductivity does not correspond to the table, replace the gauge-switch.

- If the sensor switch in order, reconnect the electrical connector and lower the car to the ground. If not, - continue to the procedure n.

Transmissions 42RE and 42RN / 46RN Replacement AW-4 | - Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
- Disconnect an electric socket of the gauge-switch.
- Straighten the lock washer tabs and give nut gauge-switch. Following the nut, remove the lock washer.
 | - Straighten the lock washer tabs, then remove the nut gauge-switch of the permission of start and its lock washer (only 4 models AW-1993 vol.).

- Give adjusting bolt gauge-switch.
- Remove the gauge-switch axis.
- Disconnect the stock shift rod from the shift lever on the left side of the transmission.
- Turn the lever all the way back, and then move it forward in two fixed positions. Now would be a lever in position ?�N?�.
- Place the sensor switch on the axis of the manual valve and hand tighten the adjusting bolt. Do not tighten the bolt completely.
- Install the lock washer on the axis of the manual valve and fix the sensor switch nut. Nut tighten with demanded effort, but not bend until the tabs lock washer.
- Make sure the transmission is in position ?�N?�, and rotate the gauge-switch as long as the standard feature of the neutral position of the transmission in its housing is aligned with the vertical groove in the axle of the manual valve.

- Tighten adjusting screw to the required torque and bend the tabs lock washer Tighten the fixing nut of the gauge-switch.
- Connect an electric socket and pull switch, lower the car on the ground and check the functioning of the gauge-switch, making sure that the launch of the starter is only possible transmission positions "P" and ?�N?�. Before you start do not forget to check the parking brake firmly cock.

42RE and 42RN / 46RN | - Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
- Install a gauge-switch drain capacitance.
- Disconnect an electric socket of the gauge-switch and remove the latter from the transmission.
- Move the gear lever to position "P" or ?�N?� and make sure that the petals of the executive arm of the gauge-switch located on the center of the hole for the installation of the gauge-switch in the transmission housing.

- Install a new gauge-switch new gasket and replace the gauge-switch in the transmission housing. Tighten the sensor switch to the desired torque.
- Connect an electric socket, lower the car on the ground and top up transmission fluid in the required variety (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
