Bearing front hub



Steering knuckle and front hub bearing

1 - internal oil sealing ring;
2 - the internal bearing;
3 - an external ring of the internal bearing;
4 - knuckle;
5 - Brake shield;
6 - a nave;
7 - external oil sealing ring;
8 - the external bearing;
9 - an external ring of the external bearing;
10 - spacer.

A warning

Needlessly do not remove a brake board.

Do not confuse the inner and outer bearing hub.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the knuckle.
2. Special adaptation OK130 331 AA0A remove the hub.
3. Special adaptation OK130 175 A18 and A17 OK130 175 Remove the outer bearing, external oil sealing ring and spacer from hub.
4. Replace the oil sealing ring regardless of its condition.
5. Disassemble the knuckle.

A warning

The outer ring of the bearing thoroughly and remove slowly.


6. Use a screwdriver to remove the internal oil sealing ring.
7. Remove the internal bearing.
8. Special adaptation OK130 170 015 and hammer remove the outer ring of the internal bearing.

A warning

Eliminate the fall of the outer ring of the internal bearing during removal.

Needlessly do not remove a brake board. Again, do not set previously removed brake board.


9. Note the relative position of the brake shield and the knuckle.
10. chisel remove the brake shield from the steering knuckle.

Check

Before inspecting clean the parts. Replace any damaged parts. Slight traces of rust, remove fine sandpaper.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the bearing for wear, damage and seizure.

A warning

Replace the bearing assembly (inner and outer rings).


2. Check the knuckle for cracks or damage, as well as rust and working out in the bearing seat.
3. Check the brake shield for damage.
4. Check the hub for cracks or damage, as well as rust and working out in the bearing seat.

Assembly


A warning

If replacement of bearings or knuckle assembly must be adjusted to preload the bearings.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If removed brake board, using a special device, install a new brake board.
2. Install the outer ring of the bearing in the knuckle.
3. Apply lithium grease to the areas shown in the figure.
4. Install the inner bearing up to the stop in the hole knuckle.
5. Grease a working edge of a new domestic oil sealing ring.
6. Establish an internal oil sealing ring in the hole.
7. Install the previously removed spacer sleeve or selected in the pre-adjustment of a tightness of bearings in the hole knuckle.
8. Install the outer bearing in the knuckle bore.
9. Grease a working edge of a new external oil sealing ring.
10. Install the new external oil sealing ring in the hole.
11. Install the knuckle.
12. Special adaptation OK130 331 AA0A set in the hub knuckle.
