Check and adjust the belt drive generator and water pump
With insufficient belt tension there is background noise, the belt wears out quickly. Excessive belt tension causes damage to the bearing of the water pump or generator. You will need: the keys "12", "14". | 1. Check belt tension by pressing your finger on the middle branch between pulleys of the generator and water pump. Pressing a force of 98 N (9.8 kgf) belt deflection should be 8-10 mm. |
