Removing and installing the front hub
To remove the front wheel hub, proceed as follows: - Loosen the wheel bolts, the front of the car to install the supports, remove the front wheel with the right hand; - Ask the assistant to press the brake pedal, and at this time, loosen the screw with a screwdriver Phillips screwdriver with the end face of the brake disc. The disc can also be bolted to the hub; - Unscrew and remove the brake caliper. To facilitate the removal of the caliper should shake a few times in the direction of the disc to take the brake pads. A support wire on parts to fix the front axle, so it does not hang on the brake hose; - Completely unscrew the screw of the brake disc and remove it. If necessary, use a rubber mallet;

- Allen key (Fig. 215), unscrew the locking clip attachment 2 (see. Fig. 213), then pull out underneath tetrahedral washer; - Remove the hub from the knuckle. If it can not be, to use a stripper, similar to that shown in Fig. 212. It is screwed to the hub and hitting, pressed it. Note: the outer bearing in this case may fall; - The inner bearing with the sleeve remains in the hub and, if necessary, replace the bearing should be removed using a stripper dvuhlapogo; - If the bearing does not need to be replaced, the hub is set back in the manner described below. Installation of the front of the hub must be performed in the following order: - On the contact surface of the sealing ring with the axis of the heat-resistant lubricant apply a little; - To establish the hub axle and the Press on a rubber mallet; - Apply grease to the outer bearing and lightly tapping, install it on the axis of the outer side of the hub; - To establish an adjusting washer and tighten the retaining clip; - Adjust bearing play as described in Section. 8.5.1; - Set the brake disc and secure the caliper to the knuckle. Bolts tightened to 175-215 Nm; - In the hub cap to lay a certain amount of heat-resistant grease and a rubber mallet Press on it; - Establish a wheel and lower the car. Tighten the wheel bolts torque of 160-180 Nm.
