Pouring liquid into the system
After the repair of the steering mechanism in the power-steering system should be required to fill in by Mercedes-Benz, and then the liquid pump hydraulic drive system. - Unscrew the cap (Fig. 263) tank and remove it. To test how to clean the probe and inserted into the filler opening, and then removed to determine the level. The normal level should be between the Min and Max; - Check the tank cap gasket and replace if necessary. Again screw cap. The fluid level in the power steering system must be checked every time you check the engine oil level. Nevertheless, we should not forget about the routine inspections.
