Check the engine oil level
Check the engine oil level is best carried out every time when refueling the car. The dipstick is located in the front side of the engine. Every 600 kilometers should check the engine oil level. It is necessary to perform the following operations. To check the oil level the vehicle on level ground. After stopping the engine is warm, wait at least 5 minutes until all the oil to drain into the oil sump. But it's best to check the oil level on a cold engine before the first start. Pull the dipstick (be careful when the engine is hot, since the passing beside the hoses supplying coolant may be very hot), wipe it with a clean cloth or paper towel and again lower completely into the housing, wait for a while and then pull. The normal oil level is considered to be located between the two marks. If the oil level is at the bottom of the label probe or warning lamp lit up the oil level, it is necessary to add oil to the engine. The quantity of oil between the upper and lower marks is approximately 2 liters. If the engine oil level has fallen to the bottom of the label probe or warning lamp lit up, it is possible to fill a quart jar of oil, the proposed distribution network. Oil is added to the engine via the filler neck located on the cylinder head cover. To do this, remove the plug from the oil filler cap and come forth as follows. With moderate use of the vehicle enough to make refilling one serving (1 liter) of oil in the engine after the indicator lamp lights up or the oil level drops to the bottom mark (1/3) of the probe. During fast driving or operating a vehicle with a trailer is advisable to keep the engine oil level at the upper mark of the dipstick. A larger number of engine oil promotes better engine cooling.
A warning In no case should not exceed the upper mark (MAX) on the dipstick. Therefore it is better not to try to carry out high-precision at the top mark, fill the oil in a car engine. Excess oil will be consumed quickly, and its burning contributes to the formation of excessive deposits on engine parts. In addition, when exceeding the permissible level crankshaft intensively foams fluffs and oil in the crankcase, which may in some cases contribute to the deterioration of lubrication. |
