Work on dismantling the generator should be carried out in the following manner (Fig. 310):

- Unscrew the nut and remove the rotor shaft with a pulley shaft, a fan and remote washer. Val and you can keep from turning by installing the V-belt pulley of the old and the generator hamstring (Fig. 311), or you can set the end of the hex shaft and nut. For removal of a pulley used two or trehlapy puller. Pay attention to set the pulley match the engine type; - Remove the key from the shaft; - Remove the voltage regulator with brush holder and remove it (see. As described above); - Mark the relative position of the front cover and the housing and remove the generator from the case two coupling bolts. Remove the cover, which, if necessary, use a plastic hammer;

- Cover with the rotor installed hamstring and remove the rotor trehlapy remover, as shown in Fig. 312. When pressing out the rotor bolts holding the bearing plate can be pulled out. Therefore, when you install a stripper watch closely to his paws were opened for the plate, and not just for the cover. If you need to remove the bearing, unscrew the screws on the inside and press out the bearing; - Remove the bearing from the shaft of the rotor. If you are using a stripper, to get it under the inner ring of the bearing; - Rectifier unit unsolder from the stator. At the same time to remove the heat from the wires hold the tongs soldering. Overheating diodes invalid. Filming diodes it is recommended in the presence of the instruments and experience. Check of brushes and brush holder Check the contact brushes with slip rings. Check the mobility of charcoal brushes in the guides, if necessary, clean the brush holder relieving liquid fat.

If the protruding part of brushes less than 5.0 mm (see. Fig. 309), the brushes need to be replaced. To measure you should use a ruler. Check rotor

If the slip rings are dirty or covered with grease, wipe them with a cloth soaked with liquid, dissolving fat. Scratches can be polished very fine sandpaper. To check the insulation to make contact wire ohmmeter to the core of the rotor and slip rings. If the resistance does not tend to infinity, the rotor must be replaced (Fig. 313).

Check rotor winding on the electrical conductivity, for which both the contact wire ohmmeter attached to the contact rings (Fig. 314). The resistance must be between 2.8 and 3.0 ohms. If the value goes to infinity, the chain is broken or there-circuit. In both cases, the rotor must be replaced or the installation of the serviceable second-hand generator. Checking the stator

If a short circuit fault location can be determined visually as a result of burning occurring. Otherwise exert a contact ohmmeter to the outer ring 1 (Fig. 315) of the stator, and the other - in succession to the terminals 2, 3, 4, 5 of the stator winding. The device should show infinity. To check for an open circuit winding contacts in turn connect an ohmmeter between the terminals of the stator winding 1 and 2; 1 and 3; 1 and 4; 2 and 3; 2 and 4; 3 and 4 (Fig. 316). If the value goes to infinity - the chain is broken. Average resistance value should be 0.10-0.11 ohms. Check rectifier diodes Accurate test diodes on the transmission of the forward voltage and reverse current definition is only possible with the help of a special device, so it is best left to professionals. Assembly During assembly, use Fig. 310, which shows a generator device. Pulley nut torque to 80 Nm. Also pay attention to the correct installation of the brushes.
