Precautions with chain Generator
When working with the chain of the generator is necessary to observe the following precautions: - Never disconnect the battery terminals or terminals of the voltage regulator with the engine running and thus the generator. Otherwise there surges that can damage the electronic device; - In any case avoid contact output winding of the generator and attached wires to her connection with "weight"; - In any case not to confuse the two wires of the voltage regulator; - Never connect the voltage regulator, if it is connected to "weight" (possible instant its failure); - Never remove the generator without disconnecting the battery (at least, remove the "minus" terminal); - When the polarity of the battery must be observed; - Never be used as a probe lamp used in the household power (110 or 220). Use only the lamp for the network voltage of 12 V; - If charging is performed without disassembly, disconnect both battery terminals. In order to eliminate the possibility of incorrect wiring to the battery terminals, they have different internal diameter. Incorrect wiring leads to the failure of the rectifier and voltage regulator, and other electrical and electronic devices.
