The engine capacity of 2.9 liters (index 602)



The engine is installed direct injection with electronic control, the two most important elements are the distribution pump and an electronic control unit.
The control unit controls the supply of fuel depending on the position of the accelerator pedal, and the technical state of the engine.
Fuel supply and the beginning of the injection pump are regulated depending on the following factors:
- The position of the accelerator pedal;
- Load (technical condition) of the engine;
- Atmospheric pressure;
- The temperature of the intake air;
- Setting of the control unit.

Exhaust gas recirculation and oxidation catalyst may be installed in series, but the cars are sold without these devices.
