Jacking and towing

Staff jack is only intended for short-term recovery of the car when replacing wheels before performing any work under the vehicle you need to install it on special props!

When disconnecting, or in the case of fully discharged battery removal AT selector lever from the "P" is not possible!

1. Cars equipped with the AT may be drawn by a forward course on all four wheels at a speed not exceeding 50 km / h and at a distance of not more than 50 km.

2. Before you start towing, check the transmission fluid level (see. Section Replacement and check of level ATF, AT filter replacement), - with insufficient ATF, should make the necessary adjustments, or tow the car with only detached from the ground wheel drive.

Towing a vehicle equipped with the AT over long distances, as well as the failed transmission must be carried out with a separation of the drive wheels off the ground or disconnected from the drive shafts - ideally - on a platform of a tow truck.

3. Perform the following setup procedures:

1. Release the parking brake;
2. Start the engine;
3. Move the selector lever in position ?�D?�, then - in neutral (?�N?�);
4. Switch off the engine;
5. Turn the ignition key to position 2 (in any case, do not leave it in the position 0);
6. The "Automatic locking of doors while driving" can be switched off.

1. Towing with a view to starting the engine must be carried out at the connected battery and turn in the lock position 2 ignition key.
2. Starting the engine by pushing or towing must be carried out only when the engine is cold and the catalytic converter. Avoid prolonged repeated starting attempts.

Starting AT appointed by towing or pushing is not possible - if necessary, use the auxiliary power supply.
