Access to fuel filler

To unlock the cover of the fuel filler tank manually (in case of failure of the uniform lock) to turn the key (1) all the way to the right.

In case of refusal response device release latch lid lock the fuel filler tank with a remote control / console switch (see. Section uniform lock) to open a back door on the ML 55 AMG dismantle housing the spare wheel and remove the left side panel trim luggage and, turning the key (1) all the way to the right, open the lid by hand.
