Removing and installing AT torque converter

- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the transfer case (see chap. The transmission line).
- Remove the oil filler tube (61) from the engine.
- Remove the drain plug (4) from the pan and drain AT ATF from the transmission housing - do not forget to replace the washer.
- Remove the plug (9) and drain the ATF from torque converter - do not forget to replace the washer.
- Remove the shield (62) and disunite the 13-pin connector (26) of the electric wiring of the control unit switching node.
- Disconnect the cable lock when parking.
- Remove the bolts (95) securing the torque converter to the drive disk, and then remove the cover of the torque converter (81).
- Remove the left and right oil lines (49) from the oil cooler.
- Releasing the latch, disconnect from the operating lever (33) AT rod (63) gear (see. Graphic design of the drive AT switch).
- Remove the cooling fan (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
- Disconnect the crankcase AT ground bus (46).
- Support the transmission jack.
- Turn out fixing bolts and filing with gear assembly on the jack back and down, separating it from the cylinder and remove from under the car.
- Remove the torque converter.
- Installation is in the reverse order.
