Removing and installing transmission
| To perform the procedures described below require a special jack throne. |
| Attempting to remove the transmission without the use of the jack may cause personal injury and damage to system components!
|
Withdrawal | - Drive the vehicle rear wheels on the overpass. Cock a lay brake and block the rear wheels wedges.
- Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props.
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the center console.
- Release the clamp, compress the locking tabs, remove your finger and remove the drive cable from the parking brake lever.
- Loosen the lock nut shell and release the cable from the cable bracket.
- Thread the wire through the floor panel, pulling it along with the grommet from the car.
- Drain the oil from the transmission.
- Mark the position of the front and rear drive shafts relative to each other, and their position relative to the flange drive pinion, flange of the transfer box and the parking brake drum.
- Give bolts and nuts and remove the drive shafts from the car.
- Fold back the rubber protective cover, unscrew the nut on the stem to the switching control lever of a distributing box, remove the washer and spacer sleeve. Remove the stem from the shift lever.
- Give bracket bolts and remove the transfer case shift lever to the transmission housing.
- Disconnect air hoses and electrical wiring from the transfer case and transmission.
- Get a trolley jack under the transfer case and secure it with the help of a sling assembly or circuit.
- Give bolts to the transmission transfer box and remove the box from the vehicle.
| Weight transfer case is about 50 kg, and because of this Guide is strongly recommended for the removal of her carriage-jack. |
- Remove the dipstick. Give a fixing bolt and remove the dipstick guide tube with O-ring with transmission.
- Give a bolt with a nut and remove the rubber bushings of the suspension bracket of the exhaust system.
- Disconnect the electrical wiring from the starter, give fixing bolts and remove the starter from the car.
- Give fixing bolts and remove the back plate of the motor.
- Mark the mounting position of the transducer rotation on the drive disk, then gradually give bolts of fastening of the converter.
- Give thrust selector locknut and remove the rod from the rod of the selector.
- Give hollow bolts connecting tube cooler, disconnect the pipe from the transmission, remove the sealing washers. Plug the open ends of the tubes. Give bolts oil cooler pipe clamps.
- Give bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine.
- Get a special jack under the transmission and fix on it the transmission chain.
- Support the transmission jack. Give bolts and nuts cross beam to the chassis frame and supports the transmission. Remove the crossmember from the vehicle.
- Carefully lower the jack, taking care not to be connected to the engine strained hoses and wires. Remove the transmission assembly with a transducer rotation. Appearance (right) removed from the vehicle automatic transmission is shown in the accompanying illustration.

- Check the cleanliness of the mating surfaces and the rear panel of the engine rotation converter, grease the converter flange sealant Loctite 587 (or equivalent).
- Raise the jack and level transmission in relation to the engine. Make sure that the mating surface of the converter of rotation of the engine and the rear panel turned parallel to each other.
- Tighten all fixture with demanded effort, restore the original wiring connections and air hoses.
- Apply sealant around the perimeter of cushion mating flange face the starter. Install the starter to the engine.
- Replace the propeller shafts. Track registration number of labels.
