Changing the oil and oil filter

Location oil drain plug

Periodic replacement of oil and the oil filter - the most important preventive maintenance procedure. When the engine oil is aging, it becomes contaminated liquid and which leads to premature wear.

Before you begin this procedure gather all necessary tools and materials. It is essential that the engine was warm that oil flew down together better with the bulk of substances polluting it.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car on the lift or establish the car in horizontal position nom over a viewing hole.
2. Remove the bottom mudguard of the engine.
3. Loosen the drain stopper approximately on half of turn. Place the container for oil plum under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If necessary, press a stopper when unscrew that oil did not proceed prematurely, see. Fig. Location oil drain plug.
4. When oil completely will flow down, wipe all round a drain aperture a rag and reliably screw up a stopper into place.
5. Move the container under the oil filter.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Use the special tool HAZET 2171-1, to weaken the oil filter, then unscrew his hand.
2. Wipe all traces of oil and dirt around the site of attachment of the filter. Check to see whether there was a rubber seal on the cylinder block. If it remains, remove it.
3. Coat the rubber seal of the new oil filter with clean engine oil and screw the oil filter by hand until it touches the rubber gasket to the engine, and then hand dovintite filter 1/2 turn.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. hexagon or a polyhedron, unscrew the bottom of the filter. See fig. The lower part of the oil filter).
2. Using a clean cloth, remove the bottom of the filter with the filter cartridge.
3. Install the new filter cartridge.
4. Replace the seal at the bottom of the filter, see. Fig. O-ring in the bottom of the filter.
5. Screw the bottom of the filter with a force of 25 Nm.
6. Using tool N02-0135, screw the plug into the bottom of the oil filter with a force of 10 Nm.
7. Remove the cover from the oil filler cap. See Figure. Location oil filler cap.
8. Fill the engine with the proper grade of oil. Pour half the amount of oil and wait some minutes that oil has flown down in the pallet, and then continue to fill in oil in small increments until the oil level reaches the maximum level on the dipstick (c), see. Fig. The oil level on the dipstick.
If the oil level is at a minimum (a), with the addition of about one liter oil level will rise to maximum on the dipstick.
9. Close the filler cap.
10. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check it out for leaks around the oil filter and drain plug on the pallet. Keep in mind that the control bulb of pressure of oil can burn some seconds as oil should fill all channels and oil capacities in the engine.
11. Turn the engine off and wait a few minutes that oil has flown down in the pallet. Check the oil level and top up if necessary. Check the tightening of the oil drain plug.
12. Establish the bottom mudguard of the engine.
