The timing
Remove the timing cover. Remove the EGR valve.
To scroll through the crankshaft bearing sleeve insert, crankshaft pulley bolt crankshaft 2 and 3, then screw the bolt (use counterhold 3415) (Fig. 2.36). Remove the spark plug of the first cylinder. To do this, use a puller and a candle key.
| Fig. 2.33. Adapter Installation and indicator
|
Screw adapter for dial gauge fully into the spark plug hole (Fig. 2.33). Insert the dial gauge with an extension to the stop and press it with a nut. Scroll crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation before TDC of the first cylinder. Note the position of the small arrow dial indicator. Then turn the crank against the direction of rotation of the motor back to 45 ?. Push the tensioning rail 1 in the direction of the arrow and fix the piston locking pin (Fig. 2.36). Mark the direction of felt-tip pen stroke timing chain 3.
NOTE Central pin shifter 2 has left-hand thread. |
Remove the screws 2 and 4 and remove the shifter 1 with the timing chain 3 (Fig. 2.37). To use the counter support retention. 1 Push the shifter again. Replace bolts 2 and 4 and tighten the bolt 2 to 40 Nm, and a bolt 4 at 50 Nm. Turn the inlet and exhaust camshafts until camshaft holder will not enter the holes in the camshafts to the stop.
Retaining shtifty1dolzhny into the holes 2. Marking ?TOP? must be visible from above (Fig. 2.35).
NOTE When scrolling, the camshafts can not shift along the axis. |
For fastening clamp screw M6 bolt by hand; do not tighten it (Fig. 2.38). Unscrew the bolts of asterisks of camshafts. To do this, be sure to use the counter support.
NOTE Lock the camshaft can not use it as a counter support. |
Remove one camshaft. Place the timing chain, observing the direction of rotation on the camshaft sprocket and again Push to remove an asterisk. Screw bolts of the camshaft so that the sprocket is still cranking out the camshafts. Tighten the timing chain by pulling the locking pin. Rotate the crankshaft in the rotational direction of the engine in the TDC of the first cylinder. Tolerance of the TDC of the first cylinder ? 0,01 mm.
NOTE If the crankshaft was scrolled further TDC more than 0.01 mm, it should once again turn against the direction of rotation of the motor by about 45 ?. Finally, bring the crankshaft in the direction of rotation of the engine at TDC of the first cylinder. |
Keep using counterhold camshaft sprocket 1 and 5 in this position and tighten the bolts 2 (left hand thread) with a torque of 40 Nm and 4 to 50 Nm (Fig. 2.37).
NOTE When tightening the bolts of the camshaft the crankshaft must not be turned, and the timing chain 3 has to be stretched on both sides. |
Remove the cam-lock. Rotate the crankshaft in the rotational direction of the engine two revolutions in the TDC of the first cylinder. Tolerance of the TDC of the first cylinder ? 0,01 mm. Insert the lock into the holes in the camshaft camshafts until it stops. If the latch is not inserted camshafts Repeat adjustment. If the lock is inserted into the camshaft Remove the camshaft holder, hold the camshaft sprocket using counterhold and screw bolts 2 (left-hand thread) and conventional key 4 1/4 turn (90 ?). (Fig. 2.37).
NOTE Central pin shifter 2 has left-hand thread. |
NOTE Asterisks tightening bolts must not be scrolled to the camshafts. |
Turn crankshaft again in the direction of rotation of the engine two revolutions in the TDC of the first cylinder. Tolerance of the TDC of the first cylinder ? 0,01 mm. Insert the lock into the holes in the camshaft camshafts until it stops. If the latch is not inserted again camshaft adjustment. Further installation is performed in reverse order. Install the timing cover. Install poly V-belt. Replace the O-ring caps camshafts and oil them before installing. Install the EGR valve.
