Adjusting headlamp with gas discharge lamps



Carrying out basic settings
Connect the diagnostic tester.

Turn the ignition switch (Fig. 7.70).
Press the "Guided Functions"
Identification of the vehicle.
Select vehicle system "Automatic adjustment of headlights with adaptive lighting."
Select the function "Performing basic settings" and confirm.
Follow the tester.
Check headlight adjustment and adjust if necessary

Left headlight adjustment screws are reversed (Fig. 7.71).
Turn first to the altitude setting the boundaries of light and shadow adjustment screw 2.
Then check the side setting and if necessary, adjust the adjusting screw 3.
