Removal and installation of the switching unit on the left side of the engine compartment
ATTENTION When disconnecting and connecting the battery, always observe the sequence of actions described in the workshop manual. |
Withdrawal Disconnect the battery.
Install the safety bracket 1 in the direction of the arrow and remove the cover of the switching unit 2 upwards (Fig. 7.112).
Open the cover 2 cable guides on the electronics box. Remove the cables connecting bolts. Release the cables of the guide. Unscrew the central screw of the switching unit 1.
NOTE When unscrewing the central bolt switching unit 1 is pressed by the switching unit holder up (Fig. 7.114). |
Remove the switching unit 1 of the holder upwards.
NOTE To remove the body contact with the surface 1, remove the air filter housing (only on vehicles with diesel engine), and the battery holder (Fig. 7.115). |
If necessary, remove the air filter housing. Remove the battery.
Remove the battery holder 1 out of the car. Release the pad on the support connection unit and remove housing with surface contact, moving the body 1 side A of the holder of the switching unit (Fig. 7.115). Release the pad on the holder With switching unit and remove housing with surface contact, moving the body forward 2 D, the holder of the switching unit.
NOTE An additional block of the relay depends on the vehicle. |
Remove the holder of the switching unit 1, as the cable length permits an additional block of the relay. Unlock additional block of the relay 1 of the side of the junction box (Fig. 7.117). Remove the holder of the switching unit 2 of the vehicle.
Setting Install in reverse order, with the following should be considered. Tighten the mounting bolts and nuts to the specified torque. 2 Place the cover on the switch box and turn trigger guard 1 in Escrow arrow until the cover locks 2 (Fig. 7.112).
NOTE Then check the fixation of the cover 2 of the switching unit. |
