Repair of contacts in the connector housing
First, if necessary, open or unlock a secondary mount connector housing.
Unlock the contact (primary fixation) suitable master key (Fig. 7.135). Remove the contact from the connector housing, pulling on a separate wire. Take the yellow repair wire with the contact of the set to repair the cables. Release the wire, which must be repaired (about 20 cm on both sides of the repair). If necessary, remove the coil harness folding knife.

Insert a new contact in the repair wire connector housing until it clicks (Fig. 7.136). Push the wire seal on the repair wire.
NOTE The smaller diameter of the seal must be always nastorone connector housing. |
Insert the seal with a suitable tool pomntazhnogo connector housing. Split a repair and a separate wire in the car to the required length for stripping pliers.
Strip 6-7 mm of insulation from the ends of the wires with pliers for stripping (Fig. 7.132). Pressure test the bare ends of the wires and crimping tool sleeve, as described in "Broken wire in one place."
NOTE If necessary, repair the wiring, observe several specific distance between crimping sleeves. to girth harness has not appeared after repair too thick crimp sleeve set with some displacement relative to each other. |
If the place was renovated originally it wrapped in duct tape, then renovated it should wrap yellow tape. Renovated after the harness should, if necessary, fix the clamp to tie the wires to avoid extraneous sounds while driving.
