Removing and installing clutch pedal
Withdrawal Remove the support bracket, Passat. Remove the support bracket, Eos. Carefully secure the support bracket in a vise with protective jaws.
Remove the clutch pedal 1 with the support bracket 3, which remove the nut 2 and remove the screw 5 (Fig. 3.14). Slightly tilt the clutch pedal forward and remove servopruzhinu 4 of the support bracket. Using tongs, remove the fixation of the clutch pedal to the master cylinder.
Setting Installation is performed in reverse order, with the following should be considered.

Install the mounting 2 for traction drive 1 of the main cylinder (Fig. 3.16). Push bracket into the groove on the clutch pedal 3, until you hear a click.
Put servopruzhinu top 2 in the support bracket, with the end of the spring to hold the mounting position with the mounting tool (Fig. 3.17). Insert the stub shaft clutch pedal 1 pallet servopruzhiny. Slightly depress the clutch pedal, insert the screw and tighten the caulking nut. Install the support bracket.
Tightening torques The clutch pedal is on the support bracket (replacement of self-locking nuts) - 25 Nm.
