Removing and installing the battery

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn off the ignition.
	2. The battery in the engine compartment: open the bonnet and unscrew the battery casing (fixation indicated by arrows).
	3. Removing the second battery under the driver's seat: move the seat all the way forward, for that pull the stop (1) outwards. This seat slides forward and focusing on open access to the battery from above.
4. Disconnect the earth wire first (-) from the battery, and then the positive cable ().
	5. If present, remove the air outlet hose (3).
6. Unscrew the retaining plate, remove the battery.
A warning Batteries contain toxic substances that should not fall into the household waste. Donating used batteries to the storage of special waste. Local and municipal government informed about the whereabouts of the nearest reception center.

A warning

The second battery under the driver's seat has a height of 175 mm. It can not replace the battery in the height of 190 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before installing carefully polished clean battery terminals. To do this, fit a bronze, metal brush. To prevent corrosion, lubricate both poles special grease against oxidation, for example BOSCH-Polfett.

2. Install the battery, fasten the lock plate 25 N ?� m.

3. Connect the positive cable to the positive pole (), then the negative cable to the negative pole (-).

A warning

When connecting the battery incorrectly may damage the sensitive generator and electrical equipment. When connecting the battery, the ignition must be switched off, otherwise it may be damaged by the electronic control units.

4. Attach hose venting.

5. Replace the cover and the driver's seat.

6. If needed, a radio program again.

7. Set the time.
