Check and replace the idle speed regulation
Idling regulator located in the upper portion of the throttle device. It consists of a bipolar stepper motor and connected to the valve cone. At a signal from the motor control unit moves the valve, thereby changing the flow area of the air passage. You will need: Phillips screwdriver with a blade tester. 1. Disconnect the harness from the controller (ignition off) by pushing its spring clip. 2. Turn on the ignition and measure the tester in voltmeter mode voltage between terminal blocks A and "weight" of the car. 3. Repeat the test for the other findings in turn blocks (B, C and D). Indications tester for the four measurements must be within 0,4-12 V. 4. Switch the tester in ohmmeter mode and measure the resistance between terminals A and B of the controller, and then between the terminals C and D. The resistance should be in the range of 40-80 ohms. | | 5. To replace the controller remove the two screws securing it to the throttle assembly ... | 6. ... and remove the regulator from the opening of the throttle assembly. |
7. Set the idling in the reverse order of removal.
