Seat belts

Pretensioner

When the car gets into an accident at a certain angle with respect to the frontal impact, the gas generator is ignited by a signal from the block SRSCM.

The gas leaving the gas generator will cause movement of the piston in the cylinder gear pretensioner.
The gear rotates the gear of the piston, and a satellite rotates the planetary gears.

As a result, the belt is stretched by the rotation of the drum. Therefore, the belt pretensioners reduce the severity of injury to the driver and front passenger by pre-tensioning the belt. This prevents movement of the driver and front passenger front and avoids hitting the steering wheel or dashboard.

Load limiter on the seat-belt

Load limiter is designed to reduce the impact force of the driver and front passenger on wearing seat belts during a collision. If the force of the collision reaches a certain value, the torsion pre-tensioned seat belts and deforms slightly releases the seat belt, reducing the force of impact.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Before servicing the airbag system, make sure that it has been at least 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off and disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

  1. Unscrew lining threshold.
  1. Remove the lower mounting bolt front seat belt blade and a flathead screwdriver, lift up and remove the B-pillar trim.
  1. Remove the bolt securing the front of the upper belt.
  1. Remove the bolt tensioner front seat belt and remove the belt from the car.

  1. Do not disassemble or repair the unit pretensioner.
  2. Do not drop the module pretensioner and prevent it from contact with water, grease, etc. If there are any dents, cracks, deformation or corrosion, replace the module.
  3. Do not expose the belt tensioner to temperatures above 93 ? C.
  4. Module pretensioner is triggered only once.
  5. When disposing of the unit triggered wear protective goggles and gloves.
