Checking the transmission oil level manual gearbox (Manual) (every 12 000 km (7500 miles) or time in 6 months)

Carter Manual transmission equipped with cork level control / Gulf Oil, which is to check the transmission fluid level should be removed. If access to the plug to be poddomkrachen car, make sure of the reliability of mounting it on props - DO not perform any work underneath the car, secured in the raised position by means of a jack (s)! Make sure that the car has been installed horizontally, otherwise the test results can not be considered reliable.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Using a spanner remove the plug from the transaxle case and enter the filler opening pinky. The fluid level should reach the lower edge of the filler hole.

Manual transmission fill plug is located on the wall of its housing.

If the condition is n. 1 is not satisfied, it is recommended to produce the desired grade of oil topping up with a syringe or nipples with elastic walls.
Install the plug and tighten it. After the first few kilometers, check for leaks oil.
