Removal and installation of air conditioning condenser
| These models of cars equipped with airbags. Pillow is always ready and can work (inflated) at any time with a connected battery. To prevent accidental operation of the system (and to obtain as a result of injury) every time you work with the components of airbags (including the impact sensors, which can be located near the front grille / bumper) Disconnect the battery negative lead. After disconnecting the battery before you start work, wait at least 2 minutes (capacitor system is equipped with a delay, which must be fully discharged). See. Head System of an onboard electric equipment. |
| The air conditioning system is constantly under pressure. Do not loosen the couplings of lines or disconnect any of the components of the system prior to its discharge. Coolant must be pumped out of the system in a special compensatory and regenerative EPA-unit station dealer branch or an authorized service center. When disconnecting the lines of the system, always wear safety goggles! |
| - Make discharging the air conditioning system (see. The warning above).
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the grille (Chapter Body).
- Remove the heat sink (see section Removing and installing radiator and expansion tank of cooling system).
- Unplug the refrigerator lines from the condenser for releasing this metal clips spring compression fittings. Strip the connection, then, securing them a special tool for opening the spring locks, twist tube with both ends of the connection, otstykovyvaya them apart.
| - To remove the need to undock capacitor couplings equipped with spring lock - first remove the metal clips (arrows).
|
| - Set up the instrument for disconnection spring locks before attempting to disunite the tube line, rotate them relative to each other.
|
- Give fixing bolts brackets capacitor.
| - Access to the bolts fastening the capacitor is possible through the opening for the installation of the grille.
|
- Remove the capacitor from the car and plug the open ends of lines in order to avoid falling into the system of moisture and dirt.
- If the old condenser is installed, keep the fittings up to prevent oil leakage.
- If necessary, replace the condenser, pour in the new block of one ounce (28.35 grams) of refrigerant (such as R-134).
| In each of the compression fittings, equipped with spring locks when installing the O-rings must be invested, fit for use in oil-filled, type R-134a. |
- Install in reverse order. Do not forget to install a compressor rubber pads. Correct folding of sealing strips around the condenser and the radiator is made in accordance with the instructions in Section Removal and installation of the radiator and cooling system expansion tank.
- In the same workshop, which produces a discharge, empty, recharge and check for leaks.
