Potentiometer adjustment WITH idling (only for leaded petrol)

This potentiometer is used to manually adjust the quality of the fuel mixture. During the rotation axis of the potentiometer output voltage is changed, whereby the engine control unit ECM adjusts the intensity of the fuel injection.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Disconnect potentiometer.

3. ohmmeter measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 connectors for 2.0 l DOHC engine or between terminals 3 and 1 connector for engines of 2.5 liters V 6.

The total resistance of the potentiometer: 5 ?� 1,5 kW

4. Ensure that the resistance of terminals 1 and 2 connectors for 2.0 l DOHC engine or between terminals 3 and 1 connector for engines of 2.5 liters V 6 changes smoothly by the rotation axis of the potentiometer clockwise or counterclockwise.
