Sensor crank angle (CKP)

Sensor crank angle passes the ECM information on the crank angle (the position of the piston). Based on this information the output signal of the sensor and the camshaft sensor ECM calculates the engine speed and controls the timing of fuel injection and ignition timing. In the absence of the sensor output signals the engine starts.
