In the seat belt retractor mechanism installed load limiter which prevents personal injury of the chest due to the load of holding the body belt;
NOTE It looks like the main elements of the seat belt pre-tensioners: 1 - lower mounting bracket; 2 - belt; 3 - tongue belt buckle; 4 - upper mounting bracket; 5 - a pyrotechnic pretensioner element; 6 - reel seat belt. |
- An electronic control unit designed to coordinate the work of all elements of additional system of passive safety. The electronic control unit, which is located under the center console, instrument panel, built-in shock sensor, which activates a chain of airbags and pyrotechnic pretensioners elements. The control unit has a backup power supply that provides the system with the power failure to the vehicle; - Rotary switch mounted in the steering column and connects the driver's front airbag wiring steering column and an electronic control system.
NOTE Wire harnesses more passive safety systems are painted yellow to distinguish them from the vehicle's electrical wiring harnesses. |
