Replacement of a back seat belt

You will need: the key "16" socket wrench "16".

1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery.

A WARNING

After disconnecting the wires from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery, wait at least 15 minutes, and only then proceed to the withdrawal of the seat belt pretensioner equipped.

2. Remove the side rear seat cushion on the side concerned (see. "Removing and installing rear seat").

3. Remove the lower mounting belt ...

NOTE

It looks like the rear seat belt: 1 - upper mounting bracket; 2 - tongue belt buckle; 3 - belt; 4 - lower mounting bracket; 5 - bolts of the belt; 6 - metal washers; 7 - plastic washers; 8 - reel seat belt; 9 - a pyrotechnic pretensioner element.

4. ... and pull the bracket to the side.

5. Remove the upper trim for rear roof pillar on the side concerned (see. "Removal and installation of facing pillars").


6. Remove the bolt of the top fastening of the seat belt ...	7. ... and move the fixture to the side.


8. Remove the bolt inertia reel ...	9. ... and remove the belt from the car.

10. Replace the belt and all previously removed parts in reverse order of removal.

WARNINGS

Do not disassemble and repair pretensioners.

Do not drop the pretensioner and hit it with water or oil.

Do not expose the pretensioner temperature above 93 ?� C.
