Removal and installation of the oil pump
For removal and installation of the oil pump is necessary to perform the following operations: - Remove the oil sump (see. Sect. 3.5);

- Remove the bolt in the center of the sprocket shown in Fig. 122 and remove an asterisk together with a chain to the pump shaft;

- Unscrew the bolts of the oil pump and remove it. The pump is secured by three screws: two on one side and one from the other. In a five-cylinder engine, moreover, the support bracket is installed, and fixed to the bottom of the pump housing block. In Fig. 123 and 124 shows a pump in the installed position. To gain access to the pump on the five-cylinder engine is also necessary to remove the support of the intake manifold; - If necessary, unscrew the cap of the oil pump relief valve. It is under pressure, so it should be held before the turn to end. Details of the valve removed from the inner hole and carefully checked;

- Installation of the oil pump is carried out in reverse order. In Fig. 125 shows how the pump is mounted on both types of engines. Tighten bolts to 25 Nm. The drive sprocket wear on the pump shaft so that the appropriate place in line (Fig. 126).
