Details of the installation of the front drive shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of the installation of the front drive shaft shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text. Remove a corresponding wheel. Release Hub nut (65a), - the nut must be replaced without fail. Without disconnecting the hose, remove the brake caliper (see chap. Brakes and auxiliary systems). Disconnect from the steering knuckle tie rod. With the help of a stripper release the ball joint from the upper control arm. Check the status of the boot, the wear rate of the hinge, if necessary, replace the ball joint. With extractor squeeze the drive shaft (65) of the flange Hubs - tie knuckle elements suspension or frame. Podrychazhiv, release the drive shaft (65) from the front axle differential and remove it from under the car. Check the condition of the anthers pivot assemblies, evaluate the degree of wear of the latter, if necessary, replace the shaft assembly. Installation is in the reverse order - make sure that the snap ring (65c) during the installation of the shaft turned deployed lock down.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Details of the installation of the front drive shaft shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text. Remove a corresponding wheel. Cock a lay brake and release the hub nut (12), - the nut must be replaced without fail. Separate from the hub assembly of the support bracket of the wheel sensor (20a), remove the sensor (L6 / 3, - in the case of the left wheel). With the help of a stripper liberate from the hub assembly of the ball joint (91) of the upper control arm. Check the status of the boot, the wear rate of the hinge, if necessary, replace the ball joint. Squeeze from the hub assembly hinge stretch (97a). Release the drive shaft (37) of the flange Hubs - if necessary, use the scraper, try not to damage the boot of the rotor wheel sensor. Release the drive shaft (37) from the front axle differential and remove it from under the car. Check the condition of the anthers pivot assemblies, evaluate the degree of wear of the latter, if necessary, replace the shaft assembly. Installation is in the reverse order - make sure that the snap ring (65c) during the installation of the shaft turned deployed lock down.
