System of additional safety (SRS)



The number of devices and components that form the system of additional safety (SRS) comprises:

  1. Two front (front) airbag. Driver airbag module is placed in the hub of the steering wheel. Passenger airbag placed into a special cavity in the right side of the instrument panel of a vehicle. The locations of the two pads are marked with warning labels ?�SRS AIRBAG?�;
  2. Four side airbags front and rear seats. The modules are mounted side airbags in the corresponding car door;
  3. Head airbags (curtain) safety, placed along the side edges of the roof panel, and provides additional protection to the driver and all passengers in side impact and rollover;
  4. Direction sensor overload, triggered when a severe frontal / side impact;
  5. Electronic self-diagnostic system, which is when the ignition sensor provides continuous testing overload Control Unit, gas generators and airbag wiring connecting the respective circuits;
  6. Automatic emergency tightener mounted in the return device front seat belt;
  7. The indicator lamp failure SRS, built in in the instrument panel;
  8. Emergency autonomous power supply, designed to duplicate the main system power supply in the event of its failure during a collision.

The dashboard of the car mounted a special warning lamp SRS (see. Sensors designed to respond to accelerations exceeding a certain limit, which may occur during a severe frontal collision. At a signal from the sensor control unit includes the airbag gas generators, causing their instant content.
