Removing and installing windscreen wiper motor

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

3. Remove the levers, refer to the appropriate section.
4. Remove the collection of water, refer to Section Removal and installation of the sump.
5. Release the clips and remove the fuse box in the engine compartment.
6. Disconnect the wiper motor connector and disconnect the electric wire in the fuse box.
7. Disconnect the cable connector from the electric wire rods cleaner.

8. Remove the bolt (1) at the bulkhead.

9. Remove the 2 mounting bolts (2) and remove the wiper from the engine compartment.
10. Remove the holder of the collection of water.

11. Remove the left and right of the bar (1) from the ball lever (2). The nut (3) on the axis of the cleaner does not turn away.

12. Remove the three mounting bolts (4) and remove the wiper motor (5) on the rod.

Before installing check that the wiper motor is in an extreme position. To do this, briefly Dock Connector and connect the earth cable of the battery. Briefly start the motor and then stop switch so that the motor is stopped at the stop position.

1. Connect the electric motor and fix the rods to 13Nm torque.
2. Connect the ball lever on the left and right rods.
3. Place the holder, check the correctness of his position.
4. Install the wiper in the engine compartment and fasten with two screws to the body. Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm.
5. Replace the screw on the bulkhead and tighten its moment of 8 nm.
6. Dock wiper motor connector in the fuse box and secure the electrical wires. Attach the wire to the wiper connector traction.
7. Close the fuse box cover and fix it.
8. Set the collection of water, refer to Section Removal and installation of the sump.
9. Install the leverage, please refer to the appropriate section.
10. Connect the earth cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.
11. Check the adjustment of the wiper arm.
