Replacing incandescent exterior lights
By instrument lighting systems include: headlights, fog lights, tail lights, brake lights, reversing lights, turn indicators, lights dim, lights and license plate illumination INTERIOR LIGHTING.
Out incandescent lamp failure is indicated on the universal display. (Warning and alarm systems faults discussed in the section Warning signal and warning lights, as well as reports on the information display for the fault).
There is a risk of injury!
Be careful when replacing the high-voltage xenon lamps in the headlights! In any case, the headlight switch off and disconnect the battery. After replacing briefly switch on and off lamp, to remove the residual stress. For safety reasons, wear shoes with rubber soles.
Incandescent lamps and lamp holders can be very hot. Therefore, before replacing incandescent lighting wait for the cooling unit.
Keep bulbs out of the reach of children.
Do not use fallen lamps or scratched, they may burst.
 | Glass incandescent bulb should not take arms. To do this it is best to use a napkin or cotton gloves. Fingerprints are vaporized and deposited on the reflector, obscuring it. Randomly formed spots on the flask to be removed with a clean, not containing fibers, towels soaked in alcohol.
Incandescent lamps must be changed only to the lamps of the same performance. |
Replacing the lamp H7: The lamp is under pressure. Therefore, you should wear protective goggles and gloves.
If you replace an incandescent lamp is not lit, turn off and on lights. When the replaced incandescent and then is not lit, contact the service station ?�Mercedes-Benz?�.
 | Plastic lenses headlights have a protective coating. In no case, the more clean and rub them with a dry cloth. It is impossible for this purpose also apply any cleaners or solvents. These lenses should be cleaned with a clean soft towel. |
Before replacing the lamp, make sure that the corresponding switch is turned off.
Dipped
| 1. Open the hood.
2. Squeeze the straps and remove the cover from the rear side lights. | Lamp-beam headlights in the outer chamber. |
 | 3. Disconnect the bulb socket (1). |
4. Halogen lamp: Lift the retaining clips (2) and remove the bulb.
5. The models with xenon headlights: Press the locking lock, turn the bayonet ring and pull out the xenon lamp from the lamp.
6. Halogen headlight: Insert new bulb so that the tabs into the corresponding slots on the case. Pinch the retaining clips.
7. Models with xenon headlights: Insert the new lamp so that the groove on the bulb shows up. Install and turn the bayonet ring, making sure the correct position of the retaining lock.
8. Dock connector on the lamp.
9. Replace the cover and lock it. |

Distant Light
| 1. Open the hood.
2. Squeeze the straps and remove the cover from the rear side lights. | Lamp-beam headlights in the outer chamber. |
 | 3. Disconnect the connector (1) of the lamp (2). |
4. Remove the retaining clip (3) and remove the bulb. (4) - the parking lights.
5. Insert the new lamp so that the tabs into the corresponding slots on the case. Secure the retainer.
6. Dock connector lamp.
7. Replace the cover and lock it. |

Parking lights
| 1. Open the hood.
2. Click on the bar and remove the headlight beam and parking light.  | 3. Remove from the device holder (1) with a lamp (2). |
4. Remove the bulb from the socket.
5. Insert the new lamp cartridge.
6. Insert the cartridge into the device.
7. Replace the cover and lock it. |

The front turn signal
| 1. Open the hood.  | 2. Turn the bulb holder (1) with a lamp counter-clockwise and remove the device. |
3. Press the bulb, turn it counterclockwise and remove the cartridge.
4. Insert a new bulb and turn it clockwise.
5. Insert the cartridge in the direction indicator lamp and lock it by turning clockwise. |

License plate light
|  | 1. Remove the two screws (1). |
2. Remove the lens using a plastic wedge out of the trunk lid or tailgate.
3. Remove the faulty lamp from the plastic holder soffit (2) and replace it with a new one.
4. Check the gasket and the lens, if necessary, replace.
5. Insert the diffuser and screw it on. |

Back light
The rear light bulbs are arranged as follows: brake light, parking light, direction indicator and reversing light. The rear light on the driver's side is a foggy lantern.

| 1. Open the trunk.
2. Open the cover (6) in the wall of the trunk.
3. Disconnect the lamp connector.
4. Turn the locking lever and remove the bar lights.
5. Press the bulb, turn anticlockwise and remove.
6. Insert the new lamp and turn it clockwise.
7. Put the bar lights and turn back the locking lever.
8. Dock connector lamp.
9. Attach the cover in the luggage compartment lining. |

|  | 1. Open the tailgate. Press (1), and remove the lower cover (2). |
2. Disconnect the rear light connector.
3. Squeeze the two retaining straps (arrows in the illustration) and remove the bar lamp, while gently press down on the supporting foot (1).
4. Press the bulb, turn anticlockwise and remove.
5. Insert a new bulb and turn it clockwise.
6. Put the bar lamps and fix it.
7. Dock connector of the rear light.
8. Replace the cover and lock it. |

Additional stop light
Vysokoraspolozhenny third brake light operates with special diodes. At failure of the brake is replaced in the kit.
Sedan
| 1. Open the trunk and remove the trunk lid trim, refer to Section Removal and installation of facing the boot lid.  | 2. Remove the 4 screws (arrows in the figure) on the retainer (1) additional stoplight and squeeze signal from tailgate. |
 | 3. Disconnect the connector (2) an additional stoplight. |
4. Secure the retaining clips (1) on the new additional brake light (arrows on an illustration. In this case, make sure that the retaining clips to slightly tightened. Brackets when installed on the brake, move under the stress.
5. Dock connector.
6. Insert the brake light in trunk lid so as to prevent damage to the paintwork. Here note the correct position of the gasket. | If necessary, as a lubricant, use petroleum jelly. |
7. Replace the lid liner, refer to Section Removal and installation of facing the boot lid. |

Versatile
| 1. Open the tailgate and remove it from the trim, refer to Section Removal and installation of facing the tailgate.
2. Remove the rear spoiler, address to Section Removal and installation of the rear spoiler.
3. Disconnect the connector of an additional stoplight.
4. Remove the 4 screws of fastening and remove brake with the rear spoiler. At the same time, carefully remove the sealing tape with an additional stoplight.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Sport Coupe
| 1. Open the tailgate.  | 2. Using a plastic wedge, remove the cover (1) of the lining of the spoiler. |
3. Disconnect the connector of an additional stoplight.
4. Unscrew and remove the brake light to the rear spoiler.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal. Making sure the correct position of the gasket. |
