Removal and installation of the brake fluid reservoir and the master cylinder (GTZ)

Removal of the brake fluid reservoir (A)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open the hood and fix it in an upright position.
  2. Remove the screw cap (1).
  3. Remove through the neck of the tank (A), the strainer.
  4. Pump out of the reservoir (A) of the brake fluid.
  5. Disconnect the connector (2) electrical brake fluid level.
  6. Remove the retaining screw (3) and separate the tank (A) of the GTZ - try to avoid hitting the brake fluid on the painted body panels.
  7. Disengage from their slots in the housing GTZ landing sleeve (B) of the tank (A), - prepare replaceable bushings.
  8. Installation is in the reverse order - before installing the new boarding hub should dampen brake fluid.
  9. Finally, add in the tank necessary quantity of hydraulic fluid required grades.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the brake fluid reservoir (10) (See above.).
  2. Disconnect from the GTZ (1) the brake lines (2 and 3).
  3. Give fixing nuts (19) and remove the GTZ (1) to block the brake booster (16), - do not tilt the cylinder in order to avoid damage to the securing tabs as a result of violations of the alignment rod hard landing. Prepare a removable nut (19) and a sealing ring (17).

GTZ reductively not be repaired in case of a failure should be replaced!

  1. In summary pump over brake system (see. Section Bleeding brake system) and check the hydraulic path for signs of leaks.
