Check concentricity landing flanges leading main gear
| Each removal connecting flange to be measured corresponding to the rotational resistance of the bridge assembly (without wheels), - brakes must be released. |
| Check concentricity landing connecting flange (1) the drive pinion |
| Details of the installation of a connecting flange |
| - Remove the flange (1) propeller shaft, move it to one side and tie the wire to the frame of the vehicle, - the procedure is similar to the procedure described in the section Disconnecting and connecting the drive shafts to the transfer box for connecting flanges transfer case.
- Verification is done by using a dial gauge plunger type (DTI) and a special adapter flange (460 589 01 23 00).
- Connect the adapter to the connecting flange (1).
- Secure the base frame gauge on the axle so that it turned out the plunger is pressed to the front surface of the measuring transition spigot flange.
- Reset the device and make the required measurement, having turned the main transfer one full turn. Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications.

Front axle If any backlash flange front axle final drive, replace the flange. | To avoid damage to the bearings in any case do not bring down the hammer flange, - if necessary, use the pliers (460 589 02 33 00)! Flanged nut must be replaced without fail! |
Rear Axle | - If the play of the flange of the rear axle exceeds the limit, unlock and release the flanged nut (2) and remove the flange, after marking the position of the nut and the flange relative to the shank pinion.
| To avoid damage to the bearings in any case do not bring down the hammer flange, - if necessary, use the pliers (460 589 02 33 00)! |
- Assess the flange, in case of need make replacement.
- If you need to replace because there is no detection of damage, turn the flange at 180 ? clockwise, reinstall, and recheck. Further, if necessary, the flange can be turned twice (at 90 ? C and again at 180 ?). If the desired result is achieved by expanding the flange is not possible, make its replacement.
- Make sure that the flanged nut (failure of its replacement) has been tightened to align inflicted during dismantling landing labels.

Both bridges | - Connect the PTO shaft in place and secure it with new self-locking nuts, tightening the last with demanded effort.
