Removing and installing steering wheel

Details of the installation of the steering wheel

Contact with cable drum (A45) of the steering wheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Expand the steering wheel (3) to the straight-ahead. Remove the key from the ignition, - should work for electronic lock column (ESC). Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last. 7 - Auxiliary battery 8 - terminal positive wire module 9 - negative terminal wire module W10 - Ground Battery Remove the steering wheel airbag module (see chap. Onboard electric equipment). On models corresponding complete set (release from 01.07.02 code VL0) Disconnect the connector (1) electrical heating device of the steering wheel. Fixing the steering wheel (32) still, remove the countersunk screw (32c), - the screw must be replaced without fail. Skipping the airbag wiring through the passage opening, remove the steering wheel, preliminary having marked its installation position on the shaft of the column. Visually assess the state of the contact of the cable drum (A45), in case of need make its replacement (see. Section Removal and installation of the cable drum contact the steering wheel). Installation is performed in reverse order, track correctness of combination caused during the dismantling of the wheels of the landing labels.
