Removal and installation of the power unit
The components of the power unit mount | | |
| - Park the car on a flat solid surface and cover the front fenders with protective covers or, for example, old blankets.
| - If not installed, install lifting lugs on the front left and right sides of the rear cylinder head. For installation on the front side of the bracket, remove the wiring under the protection of a fuel distributive highway.
|
- Relieve the pressure in the fuel system (see. Section Dropping the pressure in the supply).
- Drain the engine oil and coolant (see. Categories Replacing the motor oil and the oil filter and the replacement of a cooling liquid).
- Remove the following components:
| - Remove the ECM (1) from the bracket and disconnect the two connectors ECM. Disconnect the connector (2) of the main harness.
|
- Disconnect positive lead (3) of the battery and the earth wire (4) on the transmission side.
 | Location wire weight on models with Manual transmission different from the one in the illustration above for models with AT. |
- Disconnect the heater hose and immediately plug the it in order to prevent the loss of coolant.
- Disconnect the cable from the transmission gear selection (models with Manual transmission, see. Chapter Manual box of a gear change and clutch), or selector lever cable mode AT (see chap. Automatic transmission).
- On models with Manual transmission disconnect the tube coupling from Manual transmission, plug the pipe and temporarily fasten on the body of the car.
- Remove the transmission sensor CKP.
- Remove the ground cable between the bracket and the generator body.
- Remove the rack right engine support bracket of the generator and the generator.
- Remove the compressor K / V, without disconnecting from it a tube, take the compressor side and secure it with a rope on the elements of the body so that the tubes were not loaded.
- Unlock the fuel distribution manifold (see. Section Removal and installation of the fuel injectors and the fuel distribution manifold).
- Disconnect the fuel pipe and immediately plug the it to avoid fuel leakage.
- Remove the knuckle wheel sensors and brake calipers. Hook the calipers on the elements of the body so that the brake lines are not loaded.
- Post engine on the winch for lifting lugs.
| - Remove the bolts (2) of the upper bracket (1) right engine mounting and the lock nut (3) of the left support.
|
- Move under the engine lift truck, drop it and bring the engine power unit from the car.
 | Not zadente while any components in the engine compartment, to avoid damaging them or the power unit. |
- Remove the starter and separate from the engine transmission (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline and Removal and installation of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter and lambda probe).
- Installation is in the reverse order of dismantle of components. Ensure the continuity of support pillows and replace them if necessary.
- After installation before starting the engine, check the fluid levels and, if necessary, adjust them.
- Start the engine and make sure there are no leaks of fuel and fluids, as well as in the absence of abnormal noise and vibration.
- Allow the engine to idle, and then stop it again and check fluid levels.
